Page Maps MME Challenge/Contest

So I decided to enter a contest... I have never done one before outside of ones in my own circle of friends and family. I love My Minds Eye... and that is the awesome prize! So I just had to at least put in the effort. I had so much fun putting my own twist on this sketch. Thanks to Page Maps for this fun contest. The challenge was to use this sketch and do a page about what is on your mind. Well I have been thinking a lot about my Grandpa lately and so I did my page on one memory of him. Thanks Angie for the beautiful picture.

Here is my entry to the contest:

The journaling says "I often think of that one rare trip to the grocery store with Papa to buy eggs. He carefully picked up a carton, opened the lid and wiggled each egg to make sure they were not broken. Now each time I buy eggs, I follow suit . I will always think of my Papa when I buy eggs at Winco. "

In the last two weeks I have completed 17 pages! woo hoo for me. Scrapbooking always goes in spurts for me. Either I do a lot or I do nothing.

Finally Complete!

OK Now that I have my Silhouette I have begun finishing some of the pages that I started at Anna's 2 1/2 years ago. Here is one of the pages that came home without a title or embellishments. It is amazing how much my scrapbooking has changed.

So for my baby shower I told my girls (partially as a joke thinking they wouldn't go for it) that for a gift I wanted them to make me some amazing scrapbook pages with my supplies. They took it and are still running with it. Here they are so far.

last 3 are Crystals.
